New York City

I’m an explorer at heart. And a lot of times it means being a shameless tourist, which I don’t mind at all. It gives me a chance to highlight these popular landmarks in a way that reveals its beauty but also the characteristics that make it them so appealing.
These were my first trips to the Big Apple - first in the summer, then a few months later in the fall. I had only visited before in my dreams, but have always been drawn to the city. And no doubt the real thing had actually exceeded my expectations. It is a city so diverse in its different styles. So many sides to capture, with something to offer for everyone. You can find hypebeasts and executives hanging out on the same block and it wouldn’t be unusual at all. But I was surprised that one of my favorite characteristics were the impeccably maintained parks, which I have featured in my short video.
My goal was to capture the classic timelessness of New York. Even though it's known for being a fast-paced city, I wanted to find the slower, more peaceful side within the chaos of the city that never sleeps. It immediately drew me in with its enigmatic beauty. I see New York as an ever-changing landscape but also ageless with its iconic landmarks and features. A city steeped in history, but has maintained its classic aesthetics over the years. It was the perfect backdrop and I knew I had to capture the romantic grandeur of the city to show how it has inspired me.
